Grand Tour Outtakes

We started the tour in Marthalen, in the canton of Zürich,

then took the gondola to the Hohen Kasten

and admired the view from up there.

After staying the night in Basel, we traveled to the canton of Jura, one of my favourite areas of Switzerland.

You can stop for a coffee in St. Ursanne, it will taste badly, but it will only cost 3.50.

From Fribourg, we drove to Gruyère

and ate meringue double-crème and visited the H.R. Giger museum. Spectacular on all accounts!

We noticed many beautiful little details along the way

and ran into a cattle show in Boltigen BE.

through the Wallis

to the (much preferred) Ticino, where the sun always shines and people look handsome.
