I recently did a really fun shoot in Hottingen, Germany, for which we built an outdoor studio set on an autumn-y, dewy meadow. It was a perfect, cloudy day with to-die-for light—the kind you'd never be able to replicate with flashes. The dragonflies were in an equally photographic mood. Karola's new website is coming soon!

What happens inside a house is central to the climate: A quarter of all greenhouse gas emissions in Switzerland are caused by heating and treating hot water. But now things are moving, and emotions simmering, due to stricter laws and unexpectedly high energy prices. ► For an article in Beobachter magazine, I recently photographed three home owners in Mettau, Pfaffhausen, and Biel.
