In recent years, depression, self harm, eating disorders, and thoughts of suicide among teen girls have increased. We're in a full-blown mental health crisis.

It's strenuous for regular earners to find an affordable apartment in Switzerland, and even more so for anyone who depends on social welfare. It can involve a grueling tug of war of the authorities: When it comes to housing costs, municipalities often act in an arbitrary, small-minded manner. ► For an article in Beobachter magazine, I recently photographed the flat of a family on welfare in the canton of Aargau.

I recently did a really fun shoot in Hottingen, Germany, for which we built an outdoor studio set on an autumn-y, dewy meadow.
